Responsibilities
  • Responsible for execution and technical leadership of project design and engineering work including process design, pump systems, piping, tanks, instrumentation and controls.
  • Works with Project Manager to ensure all engineering and design tasks are completed on time and on budget.
  • Provide equipment designer with technical guidance for preparation of general arrangement and detail drawings.
  • Define component sizing, materials of construction.
  • Develops hydraulic design, equipment/plant layouts, process flow diagrams, process & instrumentation diagrams and functional descriptions (if required).
  • Performs calculations associated with numerous engineering related topics including: sizing pumps / blowers, piping / valves, pressure vessels, burners and instrumentation / controls based on the requirements of each project.
  • Assists with coordination of clarifications and exception communication.
  • Supports Project Manager in project execution.
  • Provide engineering support during project execution including customer interface during installation and start-up when necessary.
  • Supports Sales & Marketing in the bidding process (for solutions) where applicable.
  • Learns and utilizes ERP platform for part creation and bill of material (BOM) creation for release to supply chain.
