  • Hands-on engineering leaders who can dive into the code if needed
  • Extensive experience developing and scaling cloud-native applications and frameworks
  • Strong experience building and maintaining 1st and 3rd party integrations
  • Proven success in attracting and retaining top engineering talent from diverse backgrounds
  • Proven success as a partner and collaborator who prioritizes the success of the team over individual aspirations
  • Entrepreneurial spirit, priding yourself on getting things done with a high level of quality
  • Experience with greenfield development and successfully taking a new product from conception to launch
  • Experience breaking into new markets/channels a plus
  • Previous experience designing and building software products at scale
  • Deep understanding of the SDLC for SaaS applications
  • Working knowledge of modern object-oriented and functional programming languages
  • Experience building software in a dynamic language such as Ruby or Python
  • Lead a team of engineers
  • Collaborate with key partners in the product area
  • Work closely with Highspot’s Partner Marketing team
  • Uphold and build upon Highspot’s culture
  • Deliver a product that maximizes quality, security, and reliability
  • Create a collaborative environment for engineers
  • Mentor and guide the professional development of engineers
  • Ensure architects, stakeholders, and SMEs are involved in decisions
  • Communicate decisions effectively within and outside the team
  • Enforce accountability through performance targets and feedback
