Requirements
  • A university or college degree at the bachelor's level or greater.
  • Five to seven years of experience in corporate workplace experience or project delivery services, including interior design, project management, or corporate real estate, with experience in a leadership role.
  • Education and certification in one or more of the following areas: interior design, change management, project management, facilities management, or related fields.
  • Ability to manage multiple medium to large projects.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; Adobe Acrobat; and Microsoft Project.
  • Experience working on large, complex project teams.
  • Experience working in workplace transformation.
  • Experience working with and communicating to executive audiences.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong analytical skills.
Responsibilities
  • Manage a team of resources delivering relocation, furniture installation, and furniture decommissioning services.
  • Support resource planning and project-program planning while ensuring adherence to processes and best practices and driving continuous improvement.
  • Consult with clients and organizations to coordinate communications, connections, direction, and outcomes.
  • Develop and deliver solutions integrating work streams for workplace fit-up and workplace transformation.
  • Recruit talent and provide mentoring, coaching, and guidance to team members.
  • Recommend compensation adjustments and manage all aspects of team-member performance.
  • Act as the primary contact and project lead for large and complex mandates, providing direction and reviewing team members' work as needed.
  • Act as the workstream integrator for projects.
  • Collaborate with client account teams and project managers to deliver projects.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets in line with approved mandates.
  • Lead project meetings to define goals and objectives.
  • Lead milestone meetings with internal and external team members and project parties.
  • Ensure project information is robust, validated, and appropriately disseminated.
  • Track and evaluate decisions for impacts on other work streams and desired outcomes.
  • Identify connections, opportunities, and interdependencies and create communication networks to support them.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for tenants, clients, project groups, and other participants.
  • Coordinate communications and activities across contributing parties, departments, and working groups.
  • Coordinate and distribute reports from the project team and Workplace Solutions.
  • Set the pace and trajectory of projects and inter-team communications.
  • Confirm design intent throughout projects and communicate the project vision as an advocate for occupants.
  • Resolve conflicts and solve problems practically.
  • Cultivate and manage relationships with strategic partners and vendors.
  • Build internal and external partnerships to enable projects from inception to completion.
  • Identify project parties, assemble core project teams, and onboard them to projects.
  • Provide regular client reporting for each project according to the delivery plan.
  • Provide information supporting internal and account reporting requirements.
  • Maintain and build client relationships and support key client accounts where appropriate.
  • Assist with business development opportunities, including scope definition, fee development, and proposal development.

Veritas Capital to acquire facilities manager BGIS. July 17, 2026 | John McNulty Veritas Capital has agreed to acquire BGIS from CCMP Capital Advisors and Alberta Investment Management Corporation (AIMCo). BGIS runs and maintains buildings and facilities - offices, data centers, and government, healthcare, and industrial sites - for large public and private organizations, handling the engineering, operations, and technology that keep those properties running, a service known in the industry as technical integrated facilities management (IFM). The company oversees more than 65,000 facilities totaling over 620 million square feet globally with a team of more than 12,000. Gord Hicks continues as chief executive officer and will lead the business with his management team. CCMP and AIMCo had backed BGIS since 2019. Veritas Capital, a technology investor focused on companies operating at the intersection of technology and government, manages over $54 billion in assets. James Dimitri, partner and co-head of flagship private equity at Veritas, led the transaction for the firm.
