About the job

Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Four to seven years of progressive marketing experience, including required business-to-consumer or direct-to-consumer work.
  • A portfolio of writing samples, such as email, SMS, landing pages, brochures, or scripts, demonstrating independent, on-brand writing.
  • Hands-on experience building and deploying lifecycle campaigns in a marketing automation platform, including segmentation, personalization, and A/B testing.
  • Experience running multichannel campaigns across email, SMS, direct mail, and print, with a track record of tying them to conversion or acquisition metrics.
  • Comfort working in a customer relationship management system and reading performance data to decide what to test and optimize next; Salesforce is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of consent and communications compliance, including HIPAA, TCPA, and CAN-SPAM, or the judgment to learn it quickly and partner with compliance.
  • Strong project management skills and a track record of managing multiple workstreams and shipping on schedule.
  • Experience using artificial intelligence tools, including large language models, content generation, or analysis, in a marketing workflow.
  • Ability to independently write compelling, on-brand patient- and provider-facing content with minimal guidance and translate messaging and positioning into copy that connects and converts.
  • Experience developing and executing campaigns across email, SMS, direct mail, print, and digital, and understanding of how to sequence channels for a coordinated, personalized experience.
  • Fluency as a power user of marketing automation platforms and customer relationship management systems; basic HTML knowledge is a plus.
  • Ability to test campaigns, interpret performance data, and use results to improve them, with attention to detail and an execution focus.
  • Ability to work resourcefully and independently in a dynamic, fast-paced, early-stage environment, owning work end to end.
  • Ability to partner across marketing, enrollment, clinical, and operations teams and communicate openly.
  • Motivation to improve the healthcare system and alignment with Daymark's mission to transform cancer care for patients, families, and providers.
  • Basic Life Support certification and compliance with Daymark's Employee Vaccination and Testing policy are required for patient-facing roles; candidates without these at hire should coordinate with their recruiter and hiring manager to meet the requirements by the start date.
Responsibilities
  • Develop a deep understanding of Daymark's model and audiences, and translate its messaging and positioning into clear, compassionate patient- and provider-facing content.
  • Shape and execute patient acquisition and engagement strategy by proposing creative approaches to reach prospective patients, educate them about Daymark, and improve conversion to enrollment.
  • Develop and execute multichannel campaigns across print collateral, email, SMS, direct mail, out-of-home, and digital channels.
  • Independently write patient- and provider-facing emails, brochures, landing pages, scripts, and collateral that translate Daymark's messaging and positioning into content that resonates and drives action.
  • Partner with the enrollment team by providing materials, messaging, and campaigns that support its daily outreach and conversion of prospective patients.
  • Own the patient marketing calendar by scheduling, building, and deploying campaigns across platforms.
  • Use marketing automation platforms and the customer relationship management system to deliver targeted, personalized, well-timed communications, without owning customer relationship management administration.
  • Continuously A/B test and optimize campaigns to improve enrollment and engagement, and monitor and analyze performance to inform future campaigns.
  • Use data-driven insights to tailor messaging to each stage of the prospective patient journey.
  • Ensure patient and enrollment communications meet healthcare compliance and consent requirements, including HIPAA and TCPA, partnering with internal stakeholders as needed.
  • Build and launch multichannel patient marketing campaigns that measurably support new patient enrollment.
  • Establish a patient marketing calendar and a repeatable process for producing and deploying content across email, SMS, print, direct mail, and digital.
  • Become a trusted partner to the enrollment team by supplying content and campaigns that make daily outreach more effective.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience in digital health, healthcare, wellness, or consumer subscription marketing.
  • Salesforce experience.
  • Out-of-home campaign experience.
  • Basic HTML knowledge.
  • Healthcare, patient marketing, or regulated-industry experience; a personal reason the work matters is also noted as a bonus.

About the company

Daymark Health partners with health plans to take on total cost of care risk and provides supplementary cancer care through in-home and virtual services. Its platform blends care navigation, 24/7 support, symptom management, and early palliative care via a twice-weekly symptom tool, delivered by a community team of nurse practitioners, nurses, social workers, and Health Partners. The model is tied to payer contracts and aims to keep patients outside traditional clinics, reducing fragmentation and coordinating care across the health system. The goal is to improve patient outcomes while lowering overall costs for payers and patients, addressing the needs of the roughly two million Americans diagnosed with cancer each year.
