Requirements
  • Qualified to HNC / HND, City & Guilds or degree in a relevant subject
  • Previous electronic and mechanical engineering experience (Mechatronics)
  • Previous experience in the water monitoring industry is preferable
  • Experience in CAD, knowledge, and understanding of technical drawings and schematic diagrams
  • Knowledge of telemetry systems, PLC, and Modbus programming is desirable
  • Self-confidence, comfortable working safely in or around water
  • Good organisational, written and communication skills
  • Be a problem solver
Responsibilities
  • Field installation and commissioning for a growing Environmental Solutions business
  • On-site measurements of water quality and flow
  • Field installations of equipment and site surveys in river, lake, reservoir, and coastal environments as required
  • Customer support for new and existing solutions in the field, via phone or email
  • Assisting with equipment demonstration installations and client sites
  • Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions; preparing reports; and making recommendations to management
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
