This role is based in Boston, MA and is a hybrid role with two days a week in the office.
About the role:
The Analyst, Insights will play a critical role in the analysis, interpretation, and presentation of insight derived from data generated by Profitero’s software.
Reporting to the Director of Insights, the Analyst will be instrumental in directly supporting Profitero customers’ success by producing tailored, actionable insight.
Additionally, the Analyst will produce analysis and insight for distribution in Profitero white papers, blog posts, infographics and presentations.
What you’ll do:
- Serve as a player-coach on the Insights team, leading the charge to professionalize our Insights practice
- Play a key role in the client experience for assigned clients
- Produce high-quality analytic deliverables on deadline
- Synthesize and interpret data and draw clear conclusions
- Present analysis and insight via video and in person
- Document user/client feedback for product & service enhancements
Who you are:
- Ideally, you have a bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of increasing responsibility in a data-intensive consulting, market research, eCommerce, retail, manufacturing or similar role
- Exceptional technical mastery of Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience with eCommerce a strong plus
- Technically proficient with a proven ability to simplify complex data/technology concepts and communicate succinctly
- Knowledge and/or hands-on experience with Analytics tools – SQL, PowerBI, Tableau, Alteryx, or Python and ability to coach and develop more junior associates
- High level of EQ with inclusive leadership, team management and coaching skills
- Excel at working across teams and motivating people with different agendas to achieve common goals
- Thrive in fast paced environments with lots of change and upward mobility
- You have an entrepreneurial spirit with obsession for collaborating, learning, improving and results
- Strong consulting, storyboarding and design skills
- Excellent project management demonstrated by ability to organize work streams, estimate and deliver on timelines
- A strategic thinker but also a doer (enjoy rolling up your sleeves to execute)
- You have a high "do to say" ratio
- You are incredibly organized, accountable and process-oriented
