About the job

Requirements
  • 10+ years in enterprise software implementation delivery, with at least 5 years in a client-facing leadership role where you were accountable for the outcome, not just the plan. Financial services or fintech strongly preferred.
  • Experience leading engagements with diverse stakeholder dynamics — where success required building alignment across stakeholders with different levels of enthusiasm, different priorities, and different relationships to the technology being implemented. You should be able to describe how you built productive working relationships in these environments.
  • A track record of managing the transition from sales to implementation. You have taken ownership of aligning client expectations with delivery scope, navigating situations where the two were not fully synchronized, and doing so in a way that strengthened the client relationship.
  • Demonstrated commitment to documentation discipline. You maintain rigorous records of decisions, scope changes, and rationale even when the pace of the project makes it tempting to skip. You can describe how this discipline has benefited both your team and your clients in practice.
  • Experience with data migration and legacy system transitions in environments where the migration process itself surfaced complexity that neither side fully anticipated. You have led clients through discovery phases with transparency and patience, framing challenges as shared problems to solve.
  • Comfort navigating organizational change on the client side. You have maintained project continuity and stakeholder trust through leadership transitions, team changes, and evolving priorities within client organizations — without losing momentum.
  • Strong written communication skills, with the ability to create multiple representations of the same information for different audiences — executive summaries, detailed narratives, visual timelines, risk registers — and the judgment to know which format serves each audience best.
Responsibilities
  • Client Partnership at the Leadership Level. You build and maintain trusted relationships with client executives (COO, CFO, CTO) alongside the day-to-day project team. You establish steering committees and executive touchpoints as forums for shared visibility, ensuring that leadership on both sides has a clear, consistent view of project progress and risks.
  • Stakeholder Alignment Across Complex Organizations. You develop a nuanced understanding of each client’s organizational structure, decision-making processes, and internal priorities. You recognize that different stakeholders bring different perspectives shaped by their roles and responsibilities, and you tailor your engagement approach accordingly to build alignment and maintain momentum.
  • Expectation Management Across Transitions. You ensure continuity between the sales and implementation phases, taking ownership of aligning what was envisioned with what will be delivered. You manage onboarding of new stakeholders who join mid-project, ensuring they have the context needed to engage productively without losing the ground already covered.
  • Documentation as a Shared Asset. You build and enforce a documentation practice where every scope evolution, decision rationale, and priority shift is captured in durable written form. You do this to give both Arcesium and the client a shared, reliable record — because in long-running engagements, institutional memory fades on both sides, and a clear written trail protects everyone.
  • Delivery Execution Through the Team. You work through Arcesium’s existing PMO, FDSA, and FDDS staff — coaching them on stakeholder engagement while leveraging their product and domain expertise. You do not replace them; you amplify their effectiveness by providing the senior client-leadership layer that complex engagements demand.
  • Go-Live and Transition Leadership. You recognize that the transition to production is a high-stakes moment for client organizations and lead accordingly. You design hyper-care plans that provide visible, steady support during the critical post-go-live period, building client confidence through responsiveness and transparency.

Arcesium integrates additional MarketAxess data and analytics to enhance fixed income workflows.

Arcesium integrates additional MarketAxess data and analytics to enhance fixed income workflows. Newest integration designed to streamline fixed income workflows for hedge funds, institutional asset managers and capital markets firms Published on 10/07/2026 at 09:07 am EDT Business Wire Arcesium, a leading global financial technology provider to the investment industry, today announced an integration with MarketAxess Holdings Inc. (Nasdaq: MKTX), a leading electronic trading platform for fixed income securities, to provide investment firms with seamless data solutions across the fixed income trade lifecycle. With the integration of MarketAxess CP+(TM) and TraX(R) market data into Arcesium's Aquata(R) and Opterra(R) platforms, hedge funds, institutional asset managers and capital markets firms can now connect front-to-back workflows and improve data accuracy across investment and operational processes. The integration with Arcesium's platforms enables mutual clients to embed MarketAxess' pricing, liquidity and transaction data directly into their fixed income operational workflows. MarketAxess CP+ is an AI-powered algorithmic pricing engine for global credit and rates markets. MarketAxess TraX, provides daily trade volumes and transactional data for more than 42,000 global fixed income instruments. Together, these datasets provide the market context needed for more efficient liquidity analysis, price discovery, relative value assessment and risk analytics, without custom integration efforts. Alex Dobson, SVP and Head of Product at Arcesium, added, "Fixed income markets can be dynamic, one market movement can have a ripple effect across portfolios. Having more data is only valuable if firms can lean on market intelligence and operational context across one view in order to make better decisions. Our integration with MarketAxess provides fixed income teams rich market data and clean operational data in one place, allowing firms to act on pricing and liquidity signals within their core operating environment." Ena Gordon, Head of Data & Analytics Product, at MarketAxess, said: "As fixed income markets grow more complex, investors need trusted data and purpose-built tools to operate at scale. By integrating our proprietary data with Arcesium's platforms, clients can gain a reliable source of truth for fixed income trading and operations." Arcesium has also integrated with MarketAxess Repo Match since June 2024. Through the integration, Arcesium submits Opterra clients' repo trades directly to Repo Match for trade-date matching against counterparty confirmations, including lifecycle events such as re-rates and close-outs. This enhances efficiency in the repo market by supporting straight through processing, earlier exception resolution and automated books and records updates. Repo Match connects 127 buy-side and sell-side firms, with over US$700 billion in matched average daily volume. Opterra is a full cloud-native operating platform designed to connect front-, middle-, and back-office capabilities within a single architecture, bringing precision to all workflows across the entire investment lifecycle - from position management and reporting to accounting to treasury and reconciliation. It is tailored to fit the unique operating environments of hedge funds, asset managers, private market funds, and capital markets firms. Aquata is a self-service data platform purpose-built for the investment industry, featuring pre-configured connectivity with data providers, as well as industry-specific data models, lineage, quality, transformation, and reporting tools. Arcesium Intelligence, embedded in Opterra and Aquata, is designed to empower firms to deploy agentic AI across investment operations and data management workflows. Arcesium Upgrades Aquata Platform to Help Investment Firms Master Unstructured Data

Arcesium upgrades Aquata platform to help investment firms master unstructured data. Arcesium, a global financial technology company, has launched a new suite of AI features for its data platform, Aquata. The update is designed to help institutional asset managers, hedge funds, and private market firms scale their AI strategies by unlocking value from unstructured data sources and improving interoperability. The financial services sector is notoriously reliant on document-heavy workflows, particularly in private markets. Arcesium's new release specifically targets the challenge of unstructured data - such as PDFs, emails, and notices - which often requires significant manual intervention to process. The update introduces a generative AI-powered agent capable of extracting structured data from these documents. The agent ingests and organizes the information, applying data quality rules to create a reliable foundation of proprietary data. For private credit managers, the impact of this automation has been quantifiable. According to Arcesium, the tool successfully extracted loan lifecycle events - such as drawdowns, paydowns, and interest repricing - from notices across more than 15 counterparties. This process reduced what was previously hours of manual validation by operations teams into "minutes of exception-based review." Connecting AI to governed data. Alongside data extraction, Arcesium has launched a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server within Aquata. This feature addresses the challenge of connecting enterprise AI tools to a firm's internal data. The Aquata MCP server enables investment firms to use natural language to orchestrate investment lifecycle data from any enterprise AI interface. By leveraging domain-aware schemas, the server allows users to query data for analysis or run transformation workloads while ensuring the AI interacts with a "governed, trusted" data foundation. Bryan Dougherty, chief technology officer at Arcesium, emphasized the necessity of these tools in the current market: "Financial services is awash with unstructured communications. That data is both underutilized and creates tremendous data management challenges. Generative AI and LLMs are well-suited to mitigate those obstacles, and we're committed to being at the forefront of our industry in integrating cutting-edge technology into AI-enabled solutions with interoperability at their core." Scale and Context. Arcesium, which was developed from a platform created by the D. E. Shaw group and launched as a joint venture with Blackstone Multi-Asset Investing, currently services over $5.3trillion in gross AUM. Mitya Miller, senior vice president and general manager of the Aquata platform, noted that clients are currently processing "hundreds of thousands of documents monthly" for critical workflows. He stated that the new capabilities position Aquata as a unified operating model that combines unstructured data intelligence with a governed investment data foundation. The new AI tools are now available to all users of the Aquata platform.
