About the job

Requirements
  • Five to seven years of experience recruiting within early-stage and scaling startups, typically from Seed through Series A to C.
  • A track record of full-cycle recruiting delivery, having independently owned searches rather than only sourcing or coordinating within a larger talent acquisition team.
  • Experience recruiting for technical products such as developer tools, infrastructure, artificial intelligence and machine learning, robotics, or similar domains, with the ability to understand technical role substance and translate it into stronger sourcing and screening.
  • Genuine interest in engineering and design hiring, including engineering roles in 3D rendering pipelines, software development kits and developer tooling, and product design for technical users.
  • Strong sourcing skills.
  • Ability to build stakeholder relationships quickly, solve problems proactively, and maintain momentum when processes are stalled.
  • Comfort working in environments with ambiguity, shifting priorities, and occasional later calls across time zones.
Responsibilities
  • Own searches end to end, including sourcing, screening, process management, and closing.
  • Build high-quality candidate pipelines through outbound search, referrals, and communities.
  • Recruit across Viewer, software development kit, full-stack, continuous integration and continuous delivery, and design teams, and support other searches as needed.
  • Assess candidates for technical depth and role skills, and maintain hiring standards in partnership with hiring managers.
  • Deliver a strong candidate experience from the first conversation through offer.
  • Keep processes organised, efficient, and moving, while running searches with substantial autonomy.
  • Partner with hiring managers and the Talent Lead on role definition, market insight, and calibration.

About the company

Rerun provides an open-source and commercial data stack for multimodal perception and physical AI, enabling teams to log, visualize, and query tensors, point clouds, images, text, and other time-series streams to debug live and recorded data. Developers feed streams into Rerun, and it stores and presents them in a configurable interface with livestream and time-travel capabilities and extensible viewers. It stands out by pairing an active open-source community with commercial data tooling for real-time multimodal debugging in robotics and autonomous systems, focusing on time-synced visualization across multiple data types. The goal is to grow the open-source ecosystem and build scalable data infrastructure to support physical AI applications where AI interacts with the real world.

What believers are saying

  • 2026-05-13 private preview of Rerun Hub created a clear monetization path.
  • 2026-09 jobs show hiring across backend, infrastructure, GTM, and founder's office.
  • 2026 changelog added direct object-store fetching and on-demand streaming for Hub customers.

What critics are saying

  • No disclosed enterprise customers leaves Rerun Hub unproven against Foxglove, W&B, and Comet ML.
  • Open-source adoption must convert into Hub revenue before competitors copy the workflow and pricing.
  • If robotics teams standardize on Foxglove or internal tools, Rerun remains a niche viewer.

What makes Rerun unique

  • 2026-07-06 Rerun 0.34 unified visualization, querying, transformation, and training for physical data.
  • Rerun Hub uses customers' object storage, preserving its open-source data model end-to-end.
  • Rerun's Rust-first SDK spans Python, Rust, C++, plus desktop, web, and MCP viewers.

Rerun unveils new logo and brand identity.

Rerun unveils new logo and brand identity. Sep 28, 2026 Robotics software developer Rerun introduced a new logo with the release of Rerun 0.32.0 on May 13, 2026. Berlin-based Studio Gruhl replaced the line-based symbol and domain name with a tightly packed wordmark featuring faceted letters. A bolt head inspired its shape, connecting the software to engineering workshops and hardware assembly through a familiar fastener. Founded in Stockholm in 2022, Rerun is an open-source platform for viewing sensor recordings, video streams, and three-dimensional scenes to troubleshoot robots, drones, and autonomous vehicles. The collected data trains and improves models. Teams at Meta, Google, and NVIDIA use the company's tools. In March 2025, Rerun raised $17 million in a seed round led by Point Nine. As the business grew, it needed to reconsider its previous identity, which featured a domain name and gradients. Studio Gruhl proposed focusing on robotics' physical side. Bolts, soldering irons, and device testing inspired the project. Through familiar workshop objects, the studio aimed to explain a complex product and convey the culture of the people behind it. Malte Gruhl led creative direction, and Emma Damiani served as lead designer. The wordmark began with the lowercase "e." Its outer contour was given facets resembling a bolt head. Horizontal and vertical sections meet at diagonal cuts, creating an octagonal outline. Inside the letter, smooth curves remain. The designer then applied this combination of angular exteriors and rounded interiors to the other letters. The designer tightened the spacing until the strokes touched. The five letters of "rerun" form an almost continuous structure, resembling soldered components. In the "u" and "n," chamfered outer corners meet softly curved interiors. Both "r" letters retain a rounded gap between the shoulder and stem. Small notches along the top and subtle curves at the joins help distinguish the letters. The lowercase wordmark uses sans-serif forms, with a hardware reference built into the lettering. The previous logo featured a dimensional "R" on the left, constructed from parallel lines with angular bends. Slanted sections created depth. To its right, "rerun.io" appeared in rounded, loosely spaced lettering. The update replaces the full domain name with the shorter brand name. The primary logo appears in black or white. A shortened version using "re" was created for smaller applications. It retains the joined strokes and faceted outline. The app icon places the white monogram inside a rounded square, with colored bands radiating behind it and echoing the letterforms. In the project presentation, "re" was applied to a metal bolt head to show the logo's original inspiration. The colors relate to the theme "See What Robots See." Studio Gruhl drew on the Jet and Turbo colormaps used in data visualization. Transitions from blue and cyan to green, yellow, and red reference the ways machine data is displayed. Black, white, and a light shade called Sandpaper complement these colors. In the animation, mechanical forms emerge from fields of color before dissolving back into them. Yuriy Starikov worked on design and three-dimensional imagery, while Joma Frenzel created the artwork. Matthias Schulz handled development, and Duncan Brazzil produced the animated presentation.

Rerun raises $170M for smart robots

Rerun has raised a seed round of SEK 170 million to enhance AI in robotics and spatial computing. Unlike many AI companies focusing on digital services, Rerun's technology is for physical applications like robots and drones. Their tools help visualize AI data, used by companies like Meta and Google. The funding, led by Germany's Point Nine, with participation from Sunflower Capital and others, will be used to double their team and expand their database solution.
