- Prior retail management experience is required, ideally including at least 1 year in assistant manager responsibilities.
- A results-oriented individual with a strong sales focus who can lead and coach team members toward success.
- A positive, high-energy, friendly, and engaging personality, with willingness to initiate customer interactions and guide customers through the store.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective interactions with customers and corporate partners.
- Proficiency with technology, including retail point-of-sale systems, Microsoft Office, and email.
- Ability to lift, carry, or move objects weighing up to 40 pounds while merchandising the sales floor, and comfort using ladders or stairs.
- Demonstrated proficiency in coaching and mentoring employees to foster a collaborative and growth-oriented team environment.
- Achieve personal and store sales goals, set a positive example for the team, and foster development of team members’ sales skills.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to enhance revenue, provide an exceptional customer experience, and maintain key performance indicators.
- Collect and manage client information, including phone numbers, email addresses, and physical addresses.
- Identify customer needs promptly and address concerns when raised.
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of store merchandise, pricing models, and the sales floor and stockroom layout.
- Uphold housekeeping and visual merchandising standards to create an inviting store environment.
- Use point-of-sale systems, customer relationship management systems, and inventory management tools.
- Implement inventory security measures and follow the company’s loss prevention program.
- Follow store operational policies and procedures to support smooth and secure operations.
