Requirements
  • Extensive knowledge of Global Capability Centre capabilities, Centre of Excellence models, business transformation, and technology transformation within the asset management industry.
  • Experience documenting lifecycle, process mapping from L1 to L5, As-is and To-Be models, process controls, FMEA, process metrics and key performance indicators, data mining, business needs, regulatory jurisdictions, and proposition design.
  • Experience with design thinking tools and techniques.
  • Hands-on experience in project management and transition management.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, including the ability to navigate ambiguity and apply critical thinking to complex issues.
  • Proven experience leading projects focused on delivering improvements and building capabilities.
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to present ideas and project updates to senior leadership.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to articulate complex ideas and concepts to stakeholders.
  • At least 8 years of management experience, including at least 5 years specifically leading transformation and change projects, preferably in the asset management or capital markets industry.
  • A demonstrable track record of end-to-end project delivery, including transition management.
  • Experience managing business transformation projects with internal and external stakeholders within a business function.
  • Experience working effectively with stakeholders at different levels, including executives, global leaders, investment teams, and external parties.
  • A graduate degree in any discipline is required.
Responsibilities
  • Run projects on a day-to-day basis.
  • Lead and drive projects supporting the India 2.0 ambition by strengthening existing capabilities and building new capabilities.
  • Identify transformation opportunities to simplify the operating model and globalize processes across the United Kingdom, Europe, Asia-Pacific, and the United States.
  • Plan, manage, lead, and control the end-to-end transition of business processes in partnership with functional leaders and stakeholders.
  • Build and test controls to ensure successful transitions and report to the governance team.
  • Perform in-depth activity analysis, document value streams, build high-level process maps, and create knowledge-transfer plans, training plans and trackers, standard operating procedures, key performance indicators, and failure mode and effects analyses.
  • Manage allocated business transitions through go-live and hand off to business-as-usual operations.
  • Address challenges across multiple functions by applying practical and strategic solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional business teams and Technology to shape and deliver initiatives.
  • Build positive relationships with business stakeholders.
  • Engage stakeholders to understand business needs, specify requirements, and document them clearly.
  • Conduct workshops, interviews, surveys, and observation sessions to elicit detailed information.
  • Analyze business processes to identify opportunities to offshore, automate, or eliminate inefficiencies and recommend solutions.
  • Develop functional and technical specifications aligned with business requirements.
  • Create and maintain documentation including process maps, workflow diagrams, system requirements, effort analyses, skill needs, licenses, and market data.
  • Evaluate potential solutions and recommend effective approaches by documenting As-is and To-Be operating models.
  • Develop effort analyses, transition plans, approaches, and timelines.
  • Collaborate with business teams to create training materials and plans.
  • Identify risks and propose mitigation plans.
  • Assist with change management by ensuring stakeholders are informed and prepared for changes.
  • Lead end-to-end medium- to highly complex asset management projects, including defining objectives, charters, workstreams, scope, resources, dependencies, delivery schedules, execution plans, risk logs, critical paths, escalation metrics, management information, project meetings, and project artifacts.
  • Develop and maintain project plans with risk mitigation strategies and assigned responsibilities.
  • Build in-house frameworks for activity analysis, effort analysis, control environments, skill analysis, ideation, communication, team building, process excellence, knowledge management, and escalation management.
  • Conduct lessons-learned sessions and incorporate findings into future projects; build knowledge banks and run books.
  • Follow governance standards and maintain accurate RACI and RAID logs and other project records.
  • Produce management information and complete and obtain sign-off for mandatory documentation and project artifacts for audit and control.
  • Build summary management information to monitor and report progress to stakeholders.
  • Identify and manage issues, risks, and dependencies; recommend mitigation and escalate as necessary.
  • Manage relationships with Technology, external suppliers, and other business functions to achieve timely delivery.
  • Deliver projects with quality and timeliness while providing expert advice and specialist subject-matter expertise.
  • Identify and anticipate changes that continuously improve output quality and efficiency.
Desired Qualifications
  • Project Management Professional certification.
  • Experience in the asset management industry, preferably on the buy side, or in capital markets.
  • Finance or management as the graduate field of study.
  • Project Management Professional, Six Sigma, Continuous Improvement, Lean, Business Transformation, or Agile certification.

M&G Investments launches $2.1B investment grade bond fund maturing in 2031

M&G Investments has launched the M&G (Lux) Fixed Maturity Bond Fund IG 2031, a five-year actively managed fixed-maturity bond fund designed to offer access to euro-denominated income. The strategy will invest at least 60% of its portfolio in investment grade government and corporate debt securities to maintain an average BBB rating, whilst the remaining 40% will be allocated to high-yield bonds. The fund will selectively use credit default swaps to enhance the portfolio's return profile. The fund will be actively managed with a "buy and watch" approach by M&G's co-head of Macro Credit Stefan Isaacs, alongside Matthew Russell, Carlo Putti, and Anjulie Rusius. This launch expands M&G's fixed-maturity bond fund range, which has attracted €1.9 billion across eight launches over the past three years.

M&G Investments leads $17M funding round for Hivemind Digital Group to accelerate tokenization infrastructure

Hivemind Digital Group has closed a $17 million funding round led by M&G Investments to accelerate its tokenization infrastructure development and expand frontier technology investing capabilities. The round included participation from CPIC Investment Management (HK), ZA Bank, FalconX, Sonic Boom Ventures, and board members and former executives from Man Group, Apollo Global Management, Coinbase, Citi, First Citizens Bank, and GoldenTree Asset Management. Founded in 2021, Hivemind manages assets at the intersection of traditional and digital markets. The company plans to deploy capital into tokenization opportunities across asset classes and expand institutional partnerships globally. As part of the investment, Alex Seddon, Head of Impact and Private Equity at M&G Investments, joined Hivemind's Board of Directors. M&G has £371 billion in assets under management as of 31 March 2026.

GuarantCo backs $20M cashew processing plant in Côte d'Ivoire to boost local jobs and exports

GuarantCo has partnered with Symbiotics to arrange a $20 million debt facility for Robust International to finance a cashew nut processing plant in Côte d'Ivoire. GuarantCo provided a 100% payment default guarantee of up to $23 million to support the loan. The transaction will finance a greenfield cashew processing plant with 15,000 MT/year capacity in Toumodi, plus aggregation warehouses in Bouaké and Toumodi. Côte d'Ivoire produces the world's largest cashew crop but currently processes only around 30% domestically. The project is forecast to procure cashews from approximately 1,500 local smallholder farmers and increase export revenue by $79.2 million. It is expected to create 510 jobs, with 40% of short-term and 80% of long-term positions filled by women. The facility features institutional funding from M&G Investments with GuarantCo's guarantee, combined with uncovered funding from impact funds advised by Symbiotics Asset Management.
