Requirements
  • Relevant experience of working in radio, podcasting or audio feature making. Amateur podcasting or work experience/internship placements are acceptable.
  • Ability to work to regular tight deadlines.
  • Experience in editing packages or documentary audio.
  • Experience with audio editing software (ideally, Audition) and ability to edit smoothly and accurately at pace.
  • Ability to script and edit individual audio features and full episodes.
  • This position is based in London. Combination of office-based and remote working, with 2-3 days per week in the London office required.
Responsibilities
  • Be prepared to work across all aspects of the pre- and post-production process of shows, network trails and commercials to assist other producers.
  • Assist in the process from idea stage to briefing presenters and recording, editing and publishing.
  • Booking and preparing on-air talent, both internally and externally.
  • Working closely with senior producers to ensure highest levels of creativity, editorial and legal standards.
  • Work closely with social media teams on content distribution.
  • Perform administrative and data analysis tasks as needed.
  • Some travel may be necessary.
  • Administration tasks such as looking after guests, booking meetings, running errands.
