Physical Therapist Assistant - Multiple Teams

Pay Range:

$26.80 - $40.20HSHS St. Joseph's Hospital is seeking a motivated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our team. Ideal candidates are patient-focused, mission-driven individuals who provide high-quality physical therapy services under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. The Physical Therapist Assistant is responsible for implementing treatment plans, monitoring patient progress, documenting care, and communicating patient responses to the supervising Physical Therapist. The PTA serves as an educator and advocate for patients and their families, promoting safe mobility, functional independence, and overall wellness. Additional responsibilities include collaborating with the interdisciplinary care team, maintaining accurate clinical documentation, supporting therapy program goals, and participating in ongoing professional development to ensure the delivery of exceptional patient care.

Education Qualifications

• Graduate (e.g., Associate) from an accredited program which meets the licensure requirements in the state of practice (Required).

Experience Qualifications

• Years of Experience (2+)

Certifications, Licenses and Registrations

• Current state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant required.
• Certified BLS or completion in the first 90 days of employment required.
• Board Certification which meets rigorous standards of maintenance or certification (Preferred).
