Requirements

  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities
  • Respond to inquiries from customers and Customer Service regarding rush orders, inventory discrepancies, and scheduling rework or builds.
  • Review customer orders for accuracy and completeness.
  • Interpret and manage specific order requirements and coordinate them with the warehouse.
  • Plan and release orders to the warehouse team according to customer schedules or needs.
  • Arrange customer pickups, book appointments through customer portals and email, and track pickups to ensure completion.
  • Update customer website portals with shipping and cancellation-date details.
  • Plan and book inbound delivery appointments and assign drivers to doors for pickups and deliveries.
  • Manage customer on-site pickups, provide bills of lading, and coordinate order loading with the warehouse team.
  • Keep all parties informed about issues, delays, and options, and resolve problems as required.
  • Sort, distribute, and file shipping and receiving documents.
  • Confirm inventory with the Inventory team, communicate issues to Customer Service, ensure timelines are met, and coordinate shipments to and from the warehouse and off-site facility.
  • Resolve issues and escalate them when required.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience working with major retailers in a supply chain or logistics environment.
  • Invoicing experience.
  • Manpower resource planning experience.

Charger Logistics to deploy Aurora's second-generation driverless trucks on Dallas-Laredo route

Aurora Innovation announced a customer agreement with Charger Logistics to deploy second-generation driverless trucks on the Dallas-Laredo route. Charger Logistics will use Aurora's autonomous driving technology to add capacity and improve utilization on one of its busiest freight corridors. Charger Logistics is an asset-based transportation and logistics company providing truckload, warehousing, and cross-border services across North America. The company handles temperature-controlled food, pharmaceuticals, automotive, retail, and consumer products. Aurora's Vice President of Business Development, Zac Andreoni, said the new driverless truck fleet helps meet demand following last year's launch. Charger Logistics President Andy Khera stated autonomous trucking will enhance capacity, improve asset utilization, and strengthen service reliability for mission-critical freight on US corridors.
