Requirements
  • At least eight years of job-related experience.
Responsibilities
  • Use software such as CAD, Civil 3D, Revit, MicroStation, InRoads, SketchUp, Photoshop, and other discipline-specific programs to produce accurate design drawings.
  • Review work for accuracy, incorporate redline corrections, and perform backchecks to ensure precision and compliance with project standards.
  • Prepare and review specifications, evaluate submittals, and coordinate project documentation and submissions.
  • Coordinate the development of advanced multidisciplinary drawing sets with technical, administrative, and design staff.
  • Promote and follow quality assurance and quality control processes to improve deliverable quality and minimize design errors and omissions.
  • Research, interpret, and apply applicable design standards, regulations, codes, and permitting requirements.
  • Independently develop standard project details under direction and ensure consistency across deliverables.
  • Review shop and working drawings submitted by contractors to verify technical accuracy and adherence to design intent.
  • Assist with design calculations, quantity takeoffs, technical specifications, and cost estimates to support project development.
Desired Qualifications
  • An associate's or bachelor's degree in a technical discipline.
  • Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation/InRoads, hydrologic and hydraulic software packages, and other discipline-specific programs for site layout, grading, utility, and stormwater management plan design.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks and meet project deadlines.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a project team.
  • A strong desire to expand knowledge and take on new responsibilities within the field.
