Requirements
  • A Bachelor's Degree or higher is preferred.
  • A minimum of 8-10+ years of experience in high-level relationship building and operational management is required.
  • Previous multi-site management experience is highly preferred because the position may oversee employee organizations of more than 100 employees across multiple locations.
  • Experience in program or project management is a plus.
  • Experience successfully coaching, training, and mentoring frontline managers and staff.
  • Ability to build business relationships and interact effectively with C-level executives.
  • Strong understanding of profit-and-loss management, finance, budget management, and customer-metrics-driven environments.
  • Experience partnering with Human Resources, Recruiting, Training, Finance, and senior leadership to ensure service-level agreements are met.

Responsibilities
  • Manage the operational and financial health of highly visible clients.
  • Establish and maintain accountability with leaders in the organization.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact and liaison between SPS and highly influential clients.
  • Nurture relationships with Sales and other teams to help grow and advance the business, including identifying add-on opportunities and participating in requests for proposal and sales presentations when applicable.
  • Interface with SPS executive leadership on key decisions.
  • Resolve client, site-management, and site-staff issues.
  • Coach, train, and mentor subordinate leaders to support succession plans.
  • Standardize policies and procedures, including statistical monthly reporting and benchmarks.
  • Coordinate, implement, and oversee special projects specific to the client or operation.
  • Maintain communication with the Chief Operating Officer regarding the operation.
  • Assist with employee-relations concerns and make performance-management determinations with appropriate parties, including Human Resources.
  • Conduct contract-renewal negotiations in partnership with Sales when applicable.
  • Coordinate and handle vendor negotiations.
  • Manage site pro formas covering hours, gross-margin spread, profitability, and growth.
  • Lead account reviews with clients.
  • Travel as required, up to approximately 25%.
