Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree is required.
  • At least 8 years of experience in content development and instructional design is required.
  • Experience developing, reviewing, and delivering instructor-led training, web-based training, application simulations, job aids, and quick reference guides.
  • Experience working with global teams.
  • Experience leading and coaching small teams independently.
  • Ability to design, develop, and deliver gamified learning, microlearning, and mobile learning.
  • In-depth knowledge of training modalities, learning strategies, learning technologies, and adult-learning methodologies.
  • Proficiency with industry-standard design and rapid-authoring tools such as Articulate, Captivate, Lectora, Camtasia, SAP Enable Now, and WalkMe.
  • Strong design, writing, editing, and reviewing skills.
  • Strong analytical skills, business perspective, and business acumen.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in visual, oral, and written form.
  • Cross-cultural competence.
Responsibilities
  • Understand business problems, target audiences, learning needs, and learning and change objectives with functional managers and subject-matter experts.
  • Collaborate with client teams to identify solution approaches and work through design, development, and delivery phases.
  • Create training materials that map to client business needs.
  • Develop and obtain client approval for project Critical-to-Quality measures, including language style guides, guidelines, checklists, templates, and branding guidelines.
  • Conduct training needs analysis and develop training curricula.
  • Develop high-level and detailed content outlines according to the curriculum.
  • Design and create standards, guidelines, templates, and checklists for learning solutions.
  • Develop and review training deliverables against agreed quality standards, project quality parameters, and industry standards.
  • Provide clear and effective feedback to team members to develop their instructional design skills.
  • Collaborate with internal and client stakeholders to design and develop effective training deliverables.
  • Ensure projects meet productivity targets according to project plans.
  • Identify project risks and discuss solutions, mitigations, and alternatives with project leads and functional managers.
  • Contribute to client organizations through the learning process.
  • Brief and coach instructional designers and content developers to prepare materials for instructor development workshops and train-the-trainer programs.
  • Identify opportunities to implement innovative learning strategies.
  • Design, develop, and deliver learning solutions using client-proprietary authoring tools while considering their technical functionalities and limitations.
Desired Qualifications
  • Instructional design, storyboarding, or Articulate Storyline skills.
  • Experience with Whatfix, WalkMe, and the ADDIE model.
  • A master's degree, diploma in instructional design, master's degree in learning sciences, or MBA.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, project-driven environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Accenture drops LearnVantage focus, shifts $9B to cybersecurity and mid-market expansion

Accenture is shifting its growth strategy, de-emphasising LearnVantage, a learning and training business it built and promoted heavily in 2024. The company mentioned LearnVantage only once on its June 2026 earnings call, listing it amongst AI enablers rather than highlighting it as a standalone growth driver. Meanwhile, Accenture is redirecting resources toward cybersecurity, which has grown from $700 million in fiscal 2016 to $10 billion in fiscal 2025. The company is acquiring a majority stake in an operational technology security specialist, alongside two smaller firms, combining them into a platform for critical infrastructure. These assets generate $208 million in annual recurring revenue, growing at 48%. Accenture's acquisition budget for fiscal 2026 is approximately $9 billion against $73.1 billion in trailing twelve-month revenue. The company has also launched Accenture Edge, targeting mid-market companies. The stock is down 24.3% over the past year.

Accenture acquires Dutch SAP partner McCoy to boost mid-market AI and ERP capabilities

Accenture has agreed to acquire McCoy, a Dutch SAP transformation partner specialising in mid-market companies. Upon closing, McCoy will join Accenture Edge, the firm's mid-market business serving companies with annual revenues between $300 million and $3 billion. Founded in 2012, McCoy operates from the Netherlands with offices in Spain and the Philippines. The company employs over 380 professionals who design, implement and manage SAP solutions across ERP, data and business applications. McCoy holds SAP Gold Partner status and serves clients in high-tech, manufacturing, public sector, utilities and retail. The acquisition will strengthen Accenture Edge's position in the EMEA mid-market whilst expanding SAP modernisation capabilities in the Netherlands. The deal is subject to regulatory approvals. Financial terms were not disclosed.
