About Fragment
Fragment is the AI platform that autonomously streamlines procurement workflows end to end. Within a few months of launch, we signed Fortune 500 companies. Within a year of founding, our customers, all $1B+ revenue enterprises, continue to grow in number and are actively championing us to their networks, and our marketing and CAC to get here has been $0.
We work from our San Francisco office five days a week. Being in the room together is how we move blazingly fast at "Fragment Pace". You'll work with a team of passionate builders, sharp operators, and most importantly kind, thoughtful humans who are here to reimagine the systems underlying the movement of physical goods and build a generational company.
The role
Our founders’ time is increasingly becoming scarce at Fragment. Your job is to protect it and multiply it, so our founders and leadership team can efficiently prioritize the allocation of energy – to customers, product, and hiring exceptional people.
This role is about 70% executive support and 30% office and operations, and you'll directly support both founders. It's a high-trust seat: you'll have a view into nearly everything happening at the company, and real latitude to decide how we run. You'll also own the office and the moments that bring the team together as we scale.
What you'll do
Run the calendars of our founders: decide what gets time, resolve conflicts before they happen, and protect focus time. Relentless prioritization and optimization of their productivity.
Coordinate with ops and drive preparation every day of agendas, briefing notes and materials, and follow through on action items so nothing drops.
Plan travel end to end, from customer visits to last-minute trips, and rebook fast when plans change.
Coordinate board and investor meetings, from scheduling and materials to logistics on the day.
Run the office: facilities, vendors, supplies, meals and the hundred small things that make it a place people want to be.
Plan team events, offsites and rituals that strengthen our culture as we grow.
Build systems for all of it. We'd rather you automate a task once than do it by hand a hundred times.
What we're looking for
4+ years as an Executive Assistant, ideally supporting multiple executives at a high-growth startup.
You've seen what world-class executive support looks like, and you hold yourself to that bar.
You build rapport. You honor commitments and meet deadlines.
You anticipate. You've booked the car, sent the pre-read, and flagged the conflict before anyone asks.
Sharp judgment on priorities: you know when to say yes, when to push back and when to escalate.
Discretion. You'll see board materials, compensation and sensitive conversations, and they stay with you.
You write well and move fast; requests get handled the same day, not the next week
Organized and proactive. You juggle many competing demands and share updates before anyone has to ask.
Low ego. No task is too small when it helps the team, and you take pride in getting the details right.
You hold yourself to an exceptionally high standard and cannot work any other way; this is just how you're wired.
