  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in fields such as law enforcement, business administration, or security management; Master’s degree can substitute for five years of relevant commercial or government experience; at least 10 years of relevant commercial or government experience, including at least 5 years of relevant security-related experience and at least 5 years of experience in conducting appraisals; knowledge of the Agency Missions, sites, facilities, operations, and organizational roles and responsibilities; detailed knowledge of classified document protection and control including control and accountability of Top Secret documents, control of Secret and Confidential documents and materials, control of sensitive information, accountability systems, inventories, reproduction, shipping and receiving, control of weapons parts and classified shapes, document marking, destruction, receipt, and transmittal, and interfaces with physical security and protective force operations; detailed knowledge of requirements for protecting sensitive unclassified information such as unclassified controlled nuclear information; demonstrated ability to evaluate application of a wide range of information security requirements, plans, and procedures sufficient to evaluate complex protection strategies and policy applicability; good understanding of Agency mission objectives and ability to help line management identify solutions to complex problems; demonstrated ability to develop reports and presentations (verbal and written) that are understandable to a management audience; excellent oral and written communications skills; U.S. Citizenship required; proficient with Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, and Adobe); ability to obtain an Employment Authorization (Facility Access Authorization) as required by the U.S. Government; travel as coordinated and approved in advance; location is CONUS Mid Atlantic Washington Metropolitan Area (Northern Virginia, Washington D.C., Maryland)
Responsibilities
  • Observe and report on the performance of Federal and contractor organizations’ implementation of security and safety policies and programs; apply enforcement actions to contractor organizations for poor performance in adhering to legally enforceable security and safety requirements; develop and deliver security and safety training programs that reflect best practices and lessons learned from EA independent assessments to enhance workforce performance; provide technical and administrative support for the enforcement and training programs in the areas of safeguards and security; support activities for the enforcement and training programs in cyber security; emergency management; environment, safety, and health; and cross-cutting general support; perform work as part of the Engagement Team to support CLIN 1000: Management And Technical Crosscutting Activities (Time And Materials) for activities related to general and cross-cutting support; ensure work products are thorough, accurate, appropriately documented, and meet milestones/delivery schedules
