  • To be considered for a position as a Logistics Support Services (LSS) Program Manager requires a bachelor's degree, preferably with concentration in business administration, marketing, operations or another field related to inventory and management.
Responsibilities
  • Manage day-to-day project management and organize key information structures
  • Provide direction, leadership, management and oversight for current and new vendor relations, continuous improvement with existing processes, and develops consistently more competitive pricing arrangements for client product inventory
  • Lead in a small team environment, work effectively at all levels of the organization, be results oriented, have strong analytical and decision-making abilities, and be a creative problem solver
  • Manage day-to-day operations and ensure quality in packing, shipping, distribution and receiving processes
  • Support initiatives for vendor relations, continuous improvement of existing processes, and development of consistently more competitive pricing arrangements for client product inventory
  • Provide Oversight support, leadership, and support for tactical day to day operations in a Warehouse Environment when necessary and in support of the Program Manager
  • Enhance current and new vendor relations, continuous improvement with existing processes, and competitive pricing arrangements for product inventory

  • Process improvement to provide continuous improvement with existing processes and be able to document and train on those processes
  • Self-motivation, ability to multi-task, willingness to assist with any task required to support the project and function well in a small team environment
  • Work on-site at the Charlotte warehouse/office, with some travel to Fayetteville client site; handle safety and security including Facilities and Security Clearance
  • Provide strong project and program management skills, documenting programs accurately and providing team management, coordination and timely execution
  • Regularly prepare and manage budgets for review and approval by upper management
  • Oversight of public and stakeholder websites including content management, troubleshooting, testing, reporting and analysis
  • Develop and distribute site reports to senior management and stakeholders
  • Inventory planning and guaranteeing orders are efficiently processed
  • Manage day-to-day fulfillment activities and ensure quality in picking and packing, shipping and order tracking
  • Coordinate Logistics Operations including time lines, production, budgets and status reports
  • Measure and report on the effectiveness of each program
  • Monitor warehouse processes and recommend improvements to increase productivity
  • Other tasks in support of the marketing, logistics, and fulfillment operations
  • Train users and provide training documentation

  • Handle fulfillment issues including communications with shippers
Desired Qualifications
  • Military backgrounds preferable and/or experience working in a Federal Government Environment and/or with the US Military
  • Experience with Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and MS Project
  • Excellent inventory and project management skills are required
