Brownfield Environmental Engineer & EPA Brownfield Grant Administrator
About the job
- At least 5 years of professional experience in brownfield assessment or EPA brownfield grant administration.
- Experience with EPA Brownfields cooperative agreements and ACRES.
- Comfort working as a 1099 project-based consultant.
- Conduct Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments using ASTM E1527 and E1903.
- Prepare cleanup alternatives and redevelopment plans.
- Manage EPA brownfield cooperative agreements, including ACRES reporting, quarterly reports, Quality Assurance Project Plans, and budgets.
- Run community engagement and site inventory and prioritization.
- Contribute qualifications and past-performance narratives to AlphaGov proposals when authorized to be named.
- A Professional Engineer or Professional Geologist license is preferred and needed for assessment work.
- Environmental Professional qualification under the All Appropriate Inquiries rule is preferred.
- New York or New Mexico experience is preferred.
