Perceptive Discovery becomes first US provider of astatine-211 studies, with UK site

Perceptive Discovery has become the first US provider able to run astatine-211 (At-211) radiopharmaceutical studies, the company announced on October 16, 2026. The studies are available at its US and UK sites, building on a collaboration with Atley Solutions. At its Queen Mary University of London laboratory, the first Atley C100 module has been installed and used to purify At-211 from an irradiated bismuth-209 target. A second module is expected at the Needham, Massachusetts facility later this month. In the US, At-211 in solution is available from multiple sources, so studies can begin immediately. "The ability to execute At-211 studies across our UK and US operations represents an important expansion," said chief executive officer Ben Murphy. The company is now accepting inquiries.
