  • Ability to use hand tools and follow blueprints or engineering specifications to diagnose and repair units.
  • Ability to identify, analyze, diagnose, and repair systems and products at customer locations.
  • Ability to perform preventative maintenance, site surveys, replacements, and modifications as needed or requested by customers.
  • Ability to prepare for on-site installation and repairs by examining building layouts, anticipating difficulties, gathering materials, and coordinating on-site work as necessary.
  • Ability to inspect vehicles for condition and cleanliness.
  • Ability to quote jobs.
  • Ability to maintain equipment by inspecting for signs of wear and notifying customers and/or the Operations Manager of findings.
  • Ability to complete job paperwork and maintain files, including daily time, progress, and duration records.
  • Ability to determine parts to order for repairs and the timing of those needs.
  • Ability to record parts, material, labor, subcontractor, and other cost data per assignment and return unused resources.
  • Ability to submit required paperwork and reports in a timely manner.
  • Ability to keep current on products concerning installation, operation, maintenance, service, and repair.
  • Ability to read and interpret product specifications.
  • Ability to provide technical support to customers.
  • Ability to review product sales metrics and help develop product selling plans and programs.
  • Ability to perform needs assessments and develop sales proposals, estimates, specifications, and presentations.
Responsibilities
