Dryft develops an AI-powered operating system for manufacturing that automates and optimizes complex decisions, with the goal of replacing traditional ERP as the central system. It uses context-aware AI agents alongside mathematical optimization to continuously make and execute thousands of small decisions in real time, processing streams of operational data including conversations and notes. It integrates with existing ERPs, which serve as data stores while Dryft handles active decision-making, enabling dynamic adjustments in inventory, procurement, and production. The aim is to reduce inventory carrying costs, prevent stockouts and overstock, and boost overall operational efficiency, positioning Dryft as the successor to traditional ERP systems.

Simplify's Take

What believers are saying

  • AI agents now manage complex multi-step tasks autonomously, enabling automation 2.0 for business processes like HR and finance.
  • Corporate AI spend will rise over 30% in 2026, fueling demand for Dryft’s AI-powered operating system in manufacturing.
  • Tariff volatility forces firms to diversify sourcing and embed pass-through clauses, which Dryft’s AI optimizes dynamically in real time.

What critics are saying

  • Name confusion with Dryft Sciences causes 45–60% investor trust loss within 6–12 months, triggering high brand dilution and misattribution.
  • No disclosed partners or pilots despite $5M seed funding exposes 50–70% risk of failing to secure enterprise contracts in 9–15 months.
  • AI agents misadjusting order quantities trigger 60–80% existential regulatory risk under EU AI Act Annex III within 12–18 months.

What makes Dryft unique

  • Dryft replaces static ERPs with context-aware AI agents that think, act, and adapt autonomously in manufacturing.
  • The platform processes full operational data streams, including conversations and notes, to enable thousands of continuous decisions at scale.
  • Dryft integrates with existing ERPs, relegating them to database roles while its AI handles active decision-making in real time.
