The 10-week summer Internship Program based in Charlotte, NC is for rising seniors who want real growth, real purpose, and real impact. Our interns aren’t on teams to own grunt work - their days are designed to overflow with opportunities for growth by taking ownership of meaningful projects that drive business impact. Through the Internship Program, you’ll have access to mentorship, exposure to industry experts, direct team collaboration, and a high cadence of feedback to set you up for success as you work towards a potential return offer for the Rotational Program at the end of the summer. Where You’ll Be

To prioritize togetherness, culture, and accountability, RVO Health operates on a hybrid in-office work schedule. We expect employees to work from our South Charlotte office Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday each week. You are welcome to work remotely Mondays and Fridays if you wish.

What You’ll Do

• As a Software Engineering Intern at RVO Health, you will have the opportunity to work on industry leading brands that are a part of a portfolio that helps 100 million people a month.
• Software Engineer Interns at RVO Health drive the growth and development of customer-facing websites, social API integrations, and proprietary digital marketing technologies.
• You’ll collaborate with our award-winning teams to implement, test, and improve our products, while ensuring top quality and consistency across various applications within our platform.
• Design, build, and maintain tools and systems to be used by millions of customers around the globe.

What We’re Looking For

• Rising Seniors graduating in Spring 2025
• June 2024 Intern Program start date
• Recent, hands-on experience in software design and coding (internships, work experience, or side projects highly preferred)
• Knowledge around building maintainable, well-tested software
• Ability to execute on assigned work and assist in the design and implementation of specific application components
• Experience with one or more languages: Java, Golang, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, C#
• Solid ability to communicate within the context of their team; comfortable raising concerns about specific implementation details or requirements
• The passion and push to be a catalyst in a dynamic, fast-paced, and performance-driven environment
• A steady desire and commitment to learning at an accelerated rate, but also share knowledge and contribute diverse ideas to our teams
• Passion for health and wellness and an interest helping others build a better way to health and well-being
• Desire to bring your authentic self and unique perspective to work every day - and don’t forget the sense of humor!

Pursuant to various state Fair Pay Acts, below is a summary of compensation elements for this role at the company. The following benefits are provided by RVO Health, subject to eligibility requirements.

• Intern Salary: $2,900 paid bi-weekly over the course of 10 week program
