Responsibilities
Maintain a high level of training and readiness to respond to suspicious packages, unattended vehicles, facility sweeps, or other situations requiring explosives-detection canines.
Provide 24-hour housing, care, and well-being for assigned dogs.
Carry out K9 explosive-detection screening duties at contracted locations, indoors and outdoors under varying conditions.
Remain flexible and willing to respond to unpredictable and often last-minute canine service requests.
Conduct daily explosives-detection training and maintain records in compliance with federal regulations.

A.S.P.’s K9 Explosive Dog Detection (EDD) Services is the largest private canine EDD service in Canada. We provide a global solution to local needs and an effective solution to the detection of explosives and explosive trace elements. A.S.P. is looking for a K9 Security Specialist, responsible for K9 Explosives Detection searches and sweeps of office buildings, arenas and stadiums, conference centres, airport facilities, vehicles, aircraft, and any other locations as required. Responsible for maintaining a high level of training and readiness our Canine Security Specialists handle threats and emergencies with integrity, respect, and responsibility.
What you will do:
