About the Job

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience within the Civil Engineering field.
  • A bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related program is required.
  • Experience working on land or site development projects.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including public speaking.

Responsibilities

  • Support delivery of commercial and residential land development projects from inception to completion.
  • Prepare design reports and analyses, perform code searches, create a complete set of contract documents, and provide construction services, including site visits and reviewing shop drawings.
  • Work with the project team to prepare technical drawings, including Site Plans, Grading Plans, Utility Plans, Erosion Control Plans, and Stormwater Management Design, for permitting and construction.
  • Plan, schedule, conduct, and coordinate each phase of the project.
  • Provide construction services, prepare stormwater calculations, and assist in completing permits.
  • Assist in reviewing local, county, state, and federal project codes for each project.
  • Coordinate with the firm's consultants and the client's consultants to produce complete, coordinated contract documents and specifications for permitting and construction.

Desired Qualifications

  • A Professional Engineering (PE) license is preferred.
  • Strong AutoCAD and Civil 3D skills are preferred.
