About the job
- Experience with flux-cored welding is required.
- Candidates must qualify in the flux-cored process in 2G, 3G, 4G, and 5F positions at minimum.
- Ability to read a tape measure.
- Proficiency in blueprint reading specifically related to welding joints and symbols.
- Ability to use a fillet gauge.
- Understanding of material grades, including pipe, plate, bar, fittings, and P-No.
- Knowledge of interpass temperature and heat input.
- Ability to understand and adhere to weld procedures (EMITP).
- GTAW and GMAW experience is highly desired.
- Experience in a similar industry is preferred; 2 years is listed as preferred.
