An MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school is required.
Completion of an ACGME-accredited Obstetrics and Gynecology residency program is required.
Board certification or board eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology is required.
An active state medical license or eligibility for licensure is required.
Current BLS and ACLS certifications are required; NRP and other certifications may be required by the institution.

Participate in academic, clinical, and research activities as needed.
Provide administrative and supervisory support to educational, clinical, and research missions.
Participate in committees as assigned.
Present teaching materials and communicate effectively.
Participate in the education evaluation and career development of students, residents, fellows, and staff.
Provide physician care to patients in office and hospital settings.
Supervise staff under faculty supervision.

Strong clinical decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency with electronic medical records.

Overview

The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Macon & Joan Brock Virginia Health Sciences at Old Dominion University, within Eastern Virginia Medical Group (EVMG), is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) physician to join our academic faculty. This position offers the opportunity to practice in a high-acuity, multidisciplinary setting while also contributing to the teaching and research missions of a leading academic medical center.

Responsibilities
