Dubizzle Group invests in Takeem to strengthen UAE rental protection ecosystem

Dubizzle Group has made a strategic investment in UAE-based rental protection platform Takeem, alongside an exclusive partnership making Bayut and Dubizzle the sole channels for the service. The investment extends the group's property technology strategy following its recent investment in rental payment platform Tern. Takeem provides the first integrated rental guarantee solution in the GCC, protecting landlords' rental income against tenant defaults and covering emergency maintenance costs. Founded by Rakesh Mavath and Pooja Vithlani, the platform has expanded to over 100,000 properties and recorded 900% growth in customer acquisition over the past two months. The investment came through Dubizzle Group Ventures, the group's early-stage investment arm. The partnership aims to build a comprehensive digital property ecosystem covering property search, payment, and protection, enhancing efficiency and transparency in the UAE's growing rental market.
