Requirements
  • 12+ years of related accounting experience at a high-growth pre-IPO startup; SaaS experience a strong plus.
  • Expert technical knowledge of US GAAP and technical accounting.
  • Strong project management skills and ability to identify, analyze, and execute solutions to tax problems.
  • Experience evolving processes, controls, and systems to support a growth stage company.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills to interact effectively with Executive management and cross-functional teams.
  • Strong personal integrity and ethical standards.
Responsibilities
  • Oversee the timely preparation and review of financial statements in compliance with US GAAP reporting standards.
  • Manage day-to-day financial operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, taxes, and financial reporting.
  • Interpret, develop, implement, and monitor accounting policies, processes, and procedures.
  • Manage relationships with external stakeholders like banks, auditors, and tax authorities.
  • Provide accounting guidance cross-functionally and partner with People and Legal teams on HR and employment-related matters.
  • Hire, lead, and develop a high-performance accounting operations team.
