Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in energy, environmental science, policy, engineering, or related field and a minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience
  • U.S. Citizenship is required
  • No visa sponsorship available (H-1B or TN)

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance (DOE Q) or be cleared (Secret/Top Secret) for sensitive work
Responsibilities
  • Designs and administers surveys to gather qualitative data for program evaluations and policy evaluations
  • Develops and administers surveys to collect qualitative and quantitative data for program and policy evaluations
  • Provides public comment review, data analysis, modeling, evaluation, mapping, forecasting and report development
  • Provides data tracking tools, workforce policy analysis and convening, and energy market economic and regulatory analysis technical consulting services and support for the Department of Energy Office of Policy
  • Assesses impact, feasibility, and outcomes of energy programs and policies using qualitative and quantitative methods
  • Contributes to documentation and dissemination of energy solutions and engages with stakeholders to ensure alignment with DOE objectives
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience in energy policy and technical consulting
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field with 3-5 years of relevant experience (if not already in requirements)
  • Proficiency with data analysis tools and project management methodologies
  • Strong leadership, communication, time management, and organizational skills
  • Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities
  • Clearance eligibility or ability to obtain DOE security clearance (DOE Q)
  • Willingness to work as part-time engagement or contract contingent with potential conversion to full-time W-2
