About the job

Requirements
  • At least 3 years of product management experience in an early-stage or high-growth startup environment.
  • A technical background through engineering, computer science, or hands-on experience building with technical teams, with the ability to discuss AI/ML systems meaningfully with engineers.
  • Ability to break problems down to their fundamentals rather than defaulting to established approaches.

  • Experience owning workflow-heavy or operational products where details matter.
  • Ability to make tradeoffs with incomplete information and move quickly without sacrificing quality.
  • Ability to align a room and write clear specifications for engineers.
  • High ownership and comfort operating in ambiguity.
  • Interest in healthcare and motivation to build products that improve clinicians' lives.
Responsibilities
  • Talk with clinicians and agency leaders every week and deeply understand their workflows.
  • Identify high-impact problems, translate customer needs into clear specifications, and define success criteria.
  • Partner closely with engineers to ship high-quality solutions quickly and stay involved from specification through launch.
  • Collaborate with sales, customer success, and operations to validate priorities and ensure shipped products work in the field.
  • Define success metrics, measure real usage, and iterate based on outcomes.

About the company

Roger Healthcare builds an AI-powered platform for the home healthcare industry that helps clinicians with documentation and charting by allowing them to dictate notes through a voice interface. The product works as a SaaS service where clinicians speak notes, which the AI transcribes and structures into clinical documentation and charts, reducing time spent on administrative tasks and increasing time available for patient care. The company differentiates itself by focusing specifically on home health agencies and their licensed clinicians, offering specialized healthcare AI for charting and documentation, with roots from Cornell University and venture backing. Its goal is to improve clinician efficiency and patient care by automating administrative work and expanding access to AI-assisted clinical documentation in the home-health sector.

What believers are saying

  • Roger's October 2, 2026 site claims millions of visits and thousands of clinicians deployed.
  • Customer stories on October 5, 2026 show 75% documentation cuts and 10% revenue gains.
  • SignalFire-backed hiring for Founders Associate and Founding Recruiter signals aggressive scaling into 2027.

What critics are saying

  • Merit-based care documentation workflows invite audits; one compliance failure at New Day destroys trust.
  • Epic, WellSky, and PointClickCare can bundle similar AI charting into existing enterprise contracts fast.
  • Roger's existential risk: agencies churn if 80% time-savings claims fail under real clinician workloads.

What makes Roger Healthcare unique

  • Roger Healthcare targets home health documentation, not general clinical note-taking, as of October 2026.
  • Its platform claims OASIS and routine visit notes completed in minutes, with voice interface.
  • Roger says it serves 300+ agencies and spun out of Cornell with healthcare operators.
