ProSidian Seeks a Korean Language Interpreter | Interpretation Services [CLT061060] for Program Support on a Exempt Basis located in the Mid Atlantic and listed under a Instructor Level I Labor Category as a Key Personnel Mid Level Professional aligned under services related to NAICS: 541930 - Translation and Interpretation Services - DPLH Est.: 1 Hrs. ST | 0 Hrs. OT on a Exempt Contract Contingent Basis located North Carolina 28307 Across The Mid Atlantic Region supporting the The City of Charlottes mission of ensuring the delivery of quality public services and promote the safety, health, and quality of life of its citizens  with Translation, Transcription, and Interpretation services.   

Seeking Korean Language Interpreter candidates with relevant Government And Public Services Sector Experience (functional and technical area expertise also ideal) to support professional services engagement for Government And Public Services Sector Clients such as CLT.  This as a Contract Contingent or Contract W-2 (IRS-1099) Interpretation Services Functional Area - Interpretation Services Position; however, ProSidian reserves the right to convert to a Full-Time ProSidian employed W-2 Position.

JOB OVERVIEW

Provide services and support as a Interpretation Services (Korean Language Interpreter) in the Government And Public Services Industry Sector focussing on Business Process Solutions for clients such as City Of Charlotte, NC (CLT) | City of Charlotte Procurement Department Generally Located In CONUS - Charlotte, NC and across the Mid Atlantic Region (Of Country/World).

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES - Korean Language Interpreter | Interpretation Services [CLT061060]

Provide verbal interpretation between English and Korean for government, medical, and legal services.

Qualifications

Desired Qualifications For Korean Language Interpreter | Interpretation Services [CLT061060] (CLT061060) Candidates:

Bilingual proficiency in Korean and English.

Education / Experience Requirements / Qualifications

Bachelor's degree preferred; 2+ years of interpretation experience.

Skills Required

Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

Competencies Required

Ability to work in high-stress environments.

Ancillary Details Of The Roles

• Certification in court or medical interpretation preferred.
• Willingness to travel for assignments.

Other Details

Familiarity with both consecutive and simultaneous interpreting.
