About the job
- A bachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technologies, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or a related field.
- Have 1–3 years of experience in software development involving design, implementation, and testing in Java full-stack web development.
- Demonstrate strong proficiency in Java programming and working with databases.
- Demonstrate a solid understanding of JSON file handling and data manipulation.
- Have good English communication skills and confidence communicating and working with foreign colleagues.
- Communicate in Japanese at native level in speaking, listening, and writing, including technical specifications.
- Be willing to improve English communication skills through daily communication and training.
- Design, develop, and maintain Java-based web applications.
- Participate in software development lifecycle activities, including requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing, and deployment.
- Create and manage automobile diagnostic data content, or develop and optimize database schemas and data models using SQL, XML, and JSON.
- Collaborate with customers and overseas vendors on software development projects to ensure clear communication and delivery.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues using a problem-resolution-oriented approach.
- Work with diagnostic protocols such as UDS, KWP, and DOIP where applicable.
- Use or contribute to standards and tools related to ODX (Open Diagnostic data eXchange) and OTX (Open Test sequence eXchange).
- Experience in automobile diagnostic data content creation, database or data model practice (SQL, XML, JSON), or customer/vendor communication for IT development.
- Japanese communication skills.
