Requirements
  • You are comfortable working in a remote-first company; communication is key.
  • You are comfortable mentoring other team members, participating in design discussions and otherwise collaborating with the team while being friendly, kind, and respectful.
  • You are comfortable managing external stakeholder relationships, as well as balancing internal and external priorities.
  • You have professional experience working with Microsoft Azure and/or Google Cloud.
  • You have professional experience with Golang or a comparable programming language, and are comfortable working in both backend and frontend code.
  • You have experience writing clean, robust, and performant software that is easily maintained by others.
  • You value DevOps principles and design for your own team’s operations.
  • You have an active interest in the domain of software observability.
Responsibilities
  • play a vital role in the development of data sources: plugins that provide visual query editors and the underlying mechanics to query and transform observability data for use in Grafana.
  • ensure that, through this work, as many users as possible are able to see the value of Grafana as quickly as possible by connecting to their data wherever it lives.
  • own the deployment and operations of these data sources and supporting infrastructure on Grafana Cloud.
