- At least 10 years of legal malpractice and accountants malpractice defense experience is required.
- Experience representing insurers and/or insured professionals is preferred.
- Experience representing accounting professionals in state and federal courts, before professional organization committees, and in regulatory proceedings is required.
- Strong understanding of accounting and auditing documents and financial statements is required.
- Strong litigation, leadership, client management, and business development skills are required.
- Lead, grow, and oversee the Legal Malpractice, Accountants Malpractice, and Professional Liability practice.
- Handle complex defense matters through all phases of litigation.
- Develop and maintain relationships with insurers, insured professionals, brokers, and clients.
- Mentor and supervise associates and business professionals.
- Drive business development, marketing, and cross-selling initiatives.
- Collaborate with firm leadership and related practice groups on strategic growth opportunities.
- Portable business is welcomed but not required.
- The candidate should have experience representing insurers and/or insured professionals.
