Our Virtus Construction Practice is seeking Associate Producer candidates to join our growing team. This unique opening provides the opportunity to be trained by and learn from the best In the Industry. Our Construction team has created a world class training that will deliver learning paths that include business development best practices, professional and personal development, and technical Insurance knowledge.
The Associate Producer is responsible for supporting the lead producers in all aspects of the insurance brokerage process. In this role you will aggressively develop and manage a pipeline of prospects by calling on potential client presenting information on the organization’s capabilities to prospective clients, strategically cross-selling products aligned with clients’ needs, conducting insurance due diligence activities on behalf of clients, and furthering your understanding of the insurance products, risks and issues impacting clients.
While we will train new team members, success will be based on the ability to interact and engage prospects, win new business, and meet or exceed established sales and activity goal targets.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
•Identifying and engaging new prospects in a vertical.
•Setting and attending introductory meetings with senior producers.
•Meeting preparation including research on the company, attendees, and potential opportunities.
•Meeting weekly call and email activity goals set by team.
•Attending industry conferences to develop a personal network.
•Inputting and managing leads, accounts, and opportunities in Salesforce.
•Develop and manage marketing initiatives to drive new business (e.g., newsletters, LinkedIn posts).
•Planning and hosting unique events for clients and prospects.
•Learn and develop skills as an insurance broker (P&C, benefits, etc.).
•Assisting with the Due Diligence process.
•Other duties as assigned by the team and leadership.
Education and Experience:
•Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field and/or years of experience equivalent, finance, communications,
•1 to 2 years of previous related experience a plus. Previous sales experience a plus.
•Ability to be licensed withing the first 30 days of the program.
•Experience with Salesforce as a CRM and marketing system.
•Must have familiarity and good working knowledge of various Microsoft software applications (Excel), Agency Management Systems, and the ability to learn new software systems.
•Position requires direct communication with prospects and clients; therefore, strong written and oral communication skills required.
•Willingness to learn and continue to grow as an insurance professional in an entrepreneurial environment.
