Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field and/or years of experience equivalent, finance, communications
  • 1 to 2 years of previous related experience a plus. Previous sales experience a plus.
  • Ability to be licensed within the first 30 days of the program.
  • Experience with Salesforce as a CRM and marketing system.
  • Must have familiarity and good working knowledge of various Microsoft software applications (Excel), Agency Management Systems, and the ability to learn new software systems.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills required.
  • Willingness to learn and continue to grow as an insurance professional in an entrepreneurial environment.
Responsibilities
  • Identifying and engaging new prospects in a vertical.
  • Setting and attending introductory meetings with senior producers.
  • Meeting preparation including research on the company, attendees, and potential opportunities.
  • Meeting weekly call and email activity goals set by team.
  • Attending industry conferences to develop a personal network.
  • Inputting and managing leads, accounts, and opportunities in Salesforce.
  • Develop and manage marketing initiatives to drive new business (e.g., newsletters, LinkedIn posts).
  • Planning and hosting unique events for clients and prospects.
  • Learn and develop skills as an insurance broker (P&C, benefits, etc.).
  • Assisting with the Due Diligence process.
  • Other duties as assigned by the team and leadership.
