Requirements
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Strong participant-engagement, service-navigation, leadership, communication, de-escalation, and problem-solving skills are required.
  • Regular use of a computer and human resources technology platforms, detailed record management, and sustained screen-based work are required.
  • The ability to perform the stated physical functions, including standing, sitting, walking, stooping, talking, hearing, reaching, keyboarding, making and receiving telephone calls, and occasionally lifting or carrying up to 20 pounds, is required.
Responsibilities
  • Coordinate daily Client Support Specialist assignments, coverage, shift briefings, handoffs, and participant-service priorities.
  • Model proactive, trauma-informed participant engagement and help participants connect to campus and community resources.
  • Support warm handoffs, appointments, follow-up, navigation, and coordination with Case Management and Intensive Case Management Services staff.
  • Coach Client Support Specialist staff, reinforce role boundaries and documentation expectations, and coordinate with Safety when concerns require additional support.
Desired Qualifications
  • An associate’s or bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred.
  • Three or more years of experience in homeless services, outreach, service navigation, case-management support, healthcare navigation, peer support, or other direct-service settings are preferred.
  • Prior lead, supervisory, or team-coordination experience is preferred.
