- A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
- A Professional Engineer (PE) license.
- At least 6 years of experience in civil engineering design and project management.
- Experience producing residential site design plans and working with residential clients.
- Strong understanding of civil site design, including water, sewer, and storm drainage systems.
- Experience managing project scope, schedules, and budgets.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD, preferably Civil 3D.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a client-focused approach.
- Demonstrated business development skills.
- Strong leadership abilities with experience supervising project teams.
- Understanding of business financial metrics and project performance tracking.
- Proven ability to manage multiple assignments and appropriately prioritize workflow.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
- Manage one or multiple civil site development projects for residential and private sector clients.
- Prepare and oversee the development of construction drawings for water, sewer, and storm drainage infrastructure.
- Develop project scopes, schedules, and budgets, and ensure successful project delivery.
- Lead proposal preparation and fee development efforts.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal multidisciplinary teams.
- Visit client offices and project sites to support project execution and business development.
- Oversee engineering work and interface with other disciplines as needed.
- Monitor project progress using accounting and project tracking tools.
- Supervise and mentor engineers and technicians as part of project teams.
- Communicate project status, risks, and solutions effectively.
- Experience with Civil 3D.
