Requirements
  • The candidate must possess significant experience in an accounting firm, including accounting production, accounting review, and preparation of tax packages.
  • The candidate must be available at least 10 days per month for training sessions and be able to travel within a defined geographic area, approximately two hours from their home.
  • The candidate must be able to communicate availability six months in advance and be prepared to travel within defined time limits.
  • The candidate must demonstrate strong interpersonal and pedagogical skills and interact empathetically and playfully with learners.
  • The candidate must be agile in using Pennylane’s digital tools, including Slack, Notion, and Google Workspace.
  • The candidate must be able to learn training modules quickly and adapt to changes in the training offering.
  • The candidate must be comfortable delivering presentations in person and online and have a reliable internet connection.
  • The candidate must participate in administrative tasks and product monitoring to stay informed about platform updates.
  • The candidate must be available at least three days per week for the assignment.
Responsibilities
  • During the first two months, integrate into the team and spend time with an accredited training consultant mentor and the training manager to become familiar with the new environment.
  • Watch replays of experienced team trainers to discover the training sessions through shadowing.
  • Complete product training through e-learning modules and workshops to validate onboarding.
  • After three to four months, gain autonomy and take full ownership of training sessions.
  • Before training sessions, collect, identify, and analyze training needs.
  • Work closely with the pedagogical coordinator.
  • During training sessions, facilitate groups of five to twenty-five people and transfer platform knowledge so new users can acquire and update their skills.
  • Understand learners’ requests and reformulate their needs.
  • Adapt the delivery approach and apply pedagogical methods.
  • After training sessions, provide users with a questionnaire to collect feedback for Qualiopi certification.
  • Evaluate trained participants and the success rate of the training module.
  • Send the necessary information to the pedagogical coordinator so they can take over and monitor the client over the long term.
  • After six months, deliver training to increasingly strategic clients.
  • Master additional, more strategic training programs and expand the training catalog.
