The Mission

We are unlocking the largest asset class in America - mortgage. Today, building a mortgage lender is expensive, time-intensive, and operationally complex. We are standardizing these inputs via software. We believe the infrastructure layer in mortgage is long overdue. If you do too, come join us.

What You’ll Do

We are looking for our first generalist ops hire who will work directly with the CEO and across teams to execute on some of our highest value projects. You’ll be tasked with 0-1 work where you will define new functions, build a playbooks, then hire the teams and replace yourself. There will also be some involvement in helping our existing teams scale.

This is one of our highest leverage roles and will position you to grow into COO or a team lead as the company scales. Initial work will include:

• Business Development 40% - currently our sales + partnerships are founder led so you’d be jumping in as a thought partner and help drive execution

• Special Projects 25% – working across teams, you’ll be executing on high value projects — largely working to solve customer problems and productizing when possible

• Business Operations 20% – manage finance, build forecasts, track company projects + metrics, and manage 3rd party vendors (e.g. outside CFO/accounting firm, Gusto for HR/benefits, Ramp for AR/AP, etc)

• Recruiting 15% - help with recruiting, including reviewing inbound resumes, scheduling interviews, some outbound, and managing outside recruiters, etc

Our ideal team member may have specialties in some of these areas, but most importantly has shown a clear ability to learn quickly.

Desired Skills

• 3-5+ years of operations, banking, partnerships, or management consulting experience

• A track record for delivering tangible results and prioritizing progress over motion

• A desire to help build an infrastructure-grade fintech product in a highly regulated environment

• Ability to garner buy-in and work across teams such as product, operations, and engineering

• Excited about joining a small, high-growth team and tackle large, open ended problems

• Experience working at operationally complex startups, fintech, or proptech (preferred)
