  • The employee must be physically capable of accessing plant locations, including heights of 120 feet, confined spaces, ladders, stairs, and tunnels.
  • The employee must be able to consistently lift over 75 pounds as needed.
Responsibilities
  • Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on mobile and heavy equipment, including gasoline and diesel engines.
  • Repair and replace bearings, brakes, bushings, springs, axles, alternators, wiring harnesses, gaskets, fittings, seals, and hydraulic components.
  • Use hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring and testing instruments to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mobile equipment.
  • Execute work orders and compile maintenance records in accordance with company procedures and regulatory standards.
  • Complete the weekly heavy mobile equipment schedule and order and receive necessary parts.
  • Complete brake rebuilds and repairs.
  • Perform MIG welding and arc welding.
  • Perform cutting with an oxyacetylene torch.
  • Complete industrial engine and major component overhauls.
  • Use diagnostic software to diagnose and repair heavy mobile equipment.
  • Complete preventative maintenance work orders on mobile equipment.
  • Document work-order history and quality comments in SAP.
  • Enter quality notifications into SAP.
  • Populate preventative work orders based on equipment hours.
  • Inspect mobile equipment and related equipment at least once per shift, record inspection results, and detect mechanical problems affecting employee safety.
  • Perform assigned work according to company and governmental safety rules and regulations.
  • Attend scheduled safety meetings and enforce applicable safety policies.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment and promote safety among coworkers.
  • Participate in the Behavior Based Safety program.
  • Ensure a Safe Quality Food workplace and follow Federal Food and Drug Administration Food Safety Modernization Act requirements under Code of Federal Regulations Title 21, Part 507.
  • Support Environmental Health and Safety and Safe Quality Food initiatives and awareness programs.
  • Promote employee safety and Safe Quality Food culture.
  • Complete periodic Safe Quality Food training and participate in regulatory, safety, Safe Quality Food, and environmental compliance audits.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Martin Marietta would use a mix of $7 billion in cash along with shares valued at $6.5 billion to fund the deal, the company said.
