Infinity and HP double AI workload capacity on GB300-powered ZGX Fury without new hardware

Infinity, an automated AI research company, has teamed up with HP Inc to double the concurrent workloads and token throughput of NVIDIA's Nemotron 3 Super model on the HP ZGX Fury, without changing the hardware. The desktop machine runs on NVIDIA's GB300 Grace Blackwell Ultra Desktop Superchip. In testing, the setup handled about twice as many concurrent requests at the same responsiveness threshold. Infinity delivered the first gain in under 24 hours of engineering work and has kept optimising since. Infinity's engineers tuned the inference stack using techniques from vLLM, NVIDIA TensorRT-LLM, and SGLang, plus their own methods. Gartner forecasts that global spending on AI inference will overtake spending on AI training this year, at $23.3 billion versus $19 billion. Infinity was founded in August 2025 and is backed by Touring Capital.

RRD expands strategic digital print agreement with HP to advance SMART manufacturing architecture.

RRD expands strategic digital print agreement with HP to advance SMART manufacturing architecture. 14 October 2026 13:02 HP and RRD today announced an expanded strategic agreement that will see 15 HP digital presses deployed across key RRD manufacturing locations, extending their long-standing relationship through 2029. Building on the investment announced at drupa 2024, the deployment will expand digital production capacity and operational flexibility while supporting RRD's global Systematic Manufacturing, Automation & Robotic Transformation (SMART) manufacturing framework. This next phase reflects RRD's continued investment in HP's digital print technologies, services, and solutions to meet evolving client needs across commercial print, direct mail, packaging, labels, and statement applications. By integrating HP technology into its standardized data infrastructure, the expanded agreement supports RRD's broader SMART manufacturing architecture, which enables AI-driven predictive maintenance, dynamic production scheduling and network capacity balancing to help mitigate supply chain disruptions. It also underscores a shared focus on operational efficiency, workforce enablement, production agility, and scalable long-term growth. "Customers increasingly expect print to be more personalized and responsive to their needs, whether it's a statement, a direct mail campaign, or a package," said Craig Roberton, President, Marketing and Operational Print at RRD. "They need greater flexibility without compromising the reliability and consistency they expect at scale. This expansion gives us the capacity and capabilities to deliver on both, while enabling our teams to take on more complex, data-driven work with increased speed and efficiency." For more than 30 years, HP and RRD have worked together to advance large-scale digital print production across RRD's global network, driving greater flexibility and efficiency in increasingly dynamic print environments. "The agreement between RRD and HP goes beyond the purchase of assets," said Alan Gardner, Senior Vice President of Engineering and Process Management, RRD. "It ensures that technological advancements are incorporated into future thinking and project planning. By continuing to collaborate, both companies work closer together and find opportunities to advance manufacturing technologies, associated automation, and functionality to remain highly competitive." Behold, the $3,000 keyboard that is also actually a powerful AI PC I would hate to spill my coffee on.

Behold, the $3,000 keyboard that is also actually a powerful AI PC I would hate to spill my coffee on. Published 2 hours ago I'll be saving my pennies for something - anything - else, personally. As you may already suspect, the ZX Spectrum was a bit before my time. Still, a whole home computer crammed inside a relatively svelte keyboard is something with timeless appeal. Enter HP's latest update to the EliteBoard, a modern day keyboard-PC costing far more than the ZX Spectrum ever did. HP's Eliteboard series debuted with the G1a at CES 2026, which boasted a Kraken Point APU and a Radeon 860M integrated GPU (this made it roughly as powerful as the Steam Deck). Already the company has come out with a refresh in the form of the HP EliteBoard G2a, which is pitched as a 'Next Gen AI PC' complete with a Copilot key. This follow-up sequesters some serious hardware inside its svelte frame for AI-geared workloads. Latest Videos FromPC Gamer Mycopunk 1.0 launch date trailer - PC Gaming Show Tokyo Direct 2026 Would you switch from x86 to Arm for your next laptop? Voting closes at 09:00 AM on Oct 13, 2026 Yeah, I've been waiting for this day to come I'd definitely consider it, but I'm not sold yet Not until all my games run as intended I already own an Arm-powered laptop (Apple, Qualcomm, etc.) x86 'til I die, baby! I don't care either way, so long as the performance and battery life are better Within what I must admit just looks like a regular office keyboard, there is up to 32 GB of RAM and an AMD Gorgon Point CPU. Pricing starts at $3,028, with the most 'basic' model available in the US featuring 16 GB of RAM and an AMD Ryzen AI 5 Pro 435 processor. You can also only plug it into a monitor that supports a USB-C connection. Three grand is already a lot for a prebuilt gaming PC, let alone for something that looks like it could all too easily find itself in the path of a disastrous coffee spillage. Even more head-scratching, you can't detach the integrated USB4 cable - the model that lets you detach it starts at $3,053. Image 1 of 3 The most powerful model incorporates a Ryzen AI 7 Pro 450, plus 32 GB of RAM, and weighs comfortably under 700 grams (for comparison's sake, the G1a weighed 780 grams). It will set you back an eye-watering $4,191, though. As neat as the 14.1 x 4.7 x 0.7 inch form factor is, I think I'll save my pennies for a much more sizable gaming rig, thanks.
