Requirements
  • A Bachelor's Degree is required, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience is required, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft applications is required.
  • Proficiency with ProPricer and SAP Concur is required.
  • Good communication and writing skills are required.
  • Applicants must be U.S. citizens.
  • Employees must be eligible to obtain a government security clearance and comply with applicable federal-contractor security, drug-testing, electronic-monitoring, and physical-monitoring requirements.
Responsibilities
  • Work with the current Engineering Project Manager, Program Managers, Lead Systems Engineers, and Principal Investigators to support timely project-management activities and smooth project execution.
  • Assist with project planning and develop project-management work products in collaboration with technical leads.
  • Create and review presentations and reports, coordinate large meetings and project reviews, and ensure products and accommodations support project execution.
  • Analyze program costs, schedules, and milestones to assess risk and manage changes to program deliverables, including regular reporting to project leadership, external collaborators, and government sponsors.
  • Develop and manage technical and financial status reports and technical data-package documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Manage lab equipment, supplies, purchasing, and inventory.
  • Track hardware procurement and coordinate with vendors regarding quotes and timelines.
  • Build and maintain vendor relationships.
Desired Qualifications
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Project and Visio.
  • Experience with SAP Ariba.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification and/or Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM).
  • An active Secret Clearance.
