Requirements
  • Prior builder experience is required.

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
Responsibilities
  • Responsible for the day-to-day operation of assigned communities and walking every room in every house every day.
  • Take ownership of assigned communities.
  • Perform pre-construction and pre-drywall meetings with each buyer according to the build schedule for each house.
  • Contact each buyer under construction weekly to enhance their experience and drive customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and foster relationships with contractors and municipal inspectors to streamline building and minimize waste and schedule delays.
  • Communicate failures or issues discovered in the field with the Area Manager, Purchasing, Land Development, and other relevant parties as the situation warrants.
  • Develop and train the Assistant Superintendent.
  • Maintain daily job-site readiness for the contractor base, including cleaning garages for interior-trim delivery and keeping concrete and vinyl areas free of paint overspray, humps, or dips for vinyl installers.
  • Create and maintain an open working relationship with the sales team and communicate customer issues weekly to support a unified company response.
Desired Qualifications
  • Construction and/or customer relations experience is a plus.
  • Knowledge of construction and building-code practices and procedures is a plus.
  • Some college is preferred.
