Bachelor's degree plus 8 years of relevant experience or Master's degree plus 6 years of relevant experience
Associate's degree plus 10 years of relevant experience or high school diploma/GED plus 12 years of relevant experience may be considered for individuals with in-depth experience that is clearly related to the position
Computer Science (CS) degree or related field
TS/SCI clearance with polygraph
Experience with Java MapReduce, the Hadoop Distributed File System (HDFS), and technologies such as Hadoop Hive, Pig, Etc.
Experience with distributed scalable Big Data Stores (NoSQL) such as H Base, CloudBase/Accumulo, Big Table, etc.
Experience with serialization such as JSON and BSON, developing restful services, and using source code management tools
Experience developing software solutions using Python

Work directly with the customer in a highly collaborative, integrated, fast-paced environment using leading technologies
Provide software development/engineering, including requirements analysis, installation, integration, evaluation, enhancement, maintenance, testing, and problem diagnosis/resolution

ARSIEM is looking for a Java Developer. This position will support one of our government clients in Ft. Meade, MD.

Responsibilities

Develop analytics using Java MapReduce and Python in the Linux (Red Hat version 7+) environment.
Develop prototypes, answering new questions, as well as providing better answers to existing questions.

Clearance Requirement: This position requires an active TS/SCI with a polygraph. You must be a US Citizen for consideration.
