About the company

ClearVector provides real-time, identity-driven cybersecurity for cloud environments. It offers a subscription-based platform that continuously monitors cloud workloads (including serverless architectures) to detect and mitigate threats as they occur. The product works by ingesting identity and activity data, performing continuous analysis, and triggering immediate responses, with on-demand reporting and historical data insights. It integrates via API to fit existing workflows and can export security data in JSON for deeper analysis. ClearVector differentiates itself from competitors by emphasizing live, continuous security rather than periodic scans, focusing on identity-driven security tailored to cloud contexts rather than generic perimeter protection. Its goal is to help businesses of all sizes protect data and operations in the cloud by providing ongoing visibility, rapid threat detection, and actionable security recommendations through a scalable subscription service.

Simplify's Take

What believers are saying

  • The August 2026 report found 91% of production identities are non-human, sharpening demand.
  • ClearVector shipped Detection Guardrails and kill switch in September 2026, expanding product depth.
  • The May 2025 $13 million Series A funds hiring, roadmap expansion, and market education.

What critics are saying

  • Crowded identity-security rivals like Wiz, Okta, and CrowdStrike can bundle ClearVector out.
  • AWS, GCP, Okta, and GitHub integration dependence creates platform fragility if APIs change.
  • A weak proof point beyond the 2026 report makes enterprise renewal and scale execution existential.

What makes ClearVector unique

  • ClearVector maps identity behavior after authentication, not just login status, across production cloud workloads.
  • Its September 2026 Guardrails feature auto-applies controls to every identity, including AI agents.
  • Okta Integration Network listing strengthens distribution inside existing identity and cloud-security workflows.
