Requirements
  • Combination of Education and Experience will be considered. Must be authorized to work in the US as defined by the Immigration Act of 1986. Must pass a Criminal Background Check.
  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in a related field (Computer Science, Information Technology) or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in an IT management position.
  • Minimum of seven (7) years of experience in Windows, VMware, Cisco UCS, and SAN systems design and implementation in large enterprise environments.
Responsibilities
  • Daily management of IT personnel, team member PTO requests, performance reviews, and fostering of team work & cohesion.
  • The proper management of departmental resources to facilitate internal and business project needs, is also a key aspect of the daily duties.
  • Keeps an open line of communication to report daily and/or weekly to upper management on the status of the team’s projects/tasks, and or any system break/fix issues that may have occurred.
  • Operational and Production Support – Ensure operational uptime of corporate and production systems essential to Allegiant and its customers.
  • Production and SDLC Compute Hardware & Virtual Abstraction Management – This includes the architecture, oversight, responsibility, and capacity planning of all physical and virtual compute resources that are relied upon by DEV, DevOps, DBA, Linux Systems, and Corporate users.
  • New Technology – It is the responsibility of the Windows Engineering & Virtualization Manager to stay current with technology, and research new technologies that might benefit Allegiant in the near future.
  • Budget management –This position will require close interaction with the department head and third party vendors to prepare for the annual budget schedule. Also ensure that all purchases are within the approved budgeted numbers.
  • Managing third party relations - Allegiant makes use of different third party services. The Windows Engineering & Virtualization Manager is responsible for engaging, and maintaining a positive relationship with our contracted, and noncontract vendors, and ensures that the third party properly executes the agreed terms and conditions.

  • Experience with vCloud Suite, vRealize Operations Manager.
  • Extensive experience with Microsoft Exchange Server, Microsoft Failover Cluster Services, MS SQL, SharePoint, etc..
  • Experience with NetBackup, and various enterprise backup strategies.
  • In-depth knowledge of network protocols, such as IP, ARP, TCP, UDP, DHCP, DNS, FTP, NTP, SNMP, etc.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to work effectively and take lead in a tight-knit team environment.
  • Able to maintain meticulous documentation and procedures.

F. Green International Airport (PVD) The new routes will be hyper-seasonal and begin in February. "We're excited to announce these new routes into our growing network and will continue to look for opportunities to connect travelers with the destinations they want to visit most," said Drew Wells, Allegiant's chief commercial officer. "These new routes reflect the flexibility of our unique business model, allowing us to respond to demand and provide more options during peak leisure periods."

USA TODAY NETWORK - Florida Aug. 17, 2026, 12:51 p.m. ET * Allegiant Air is adding nine new nonstop routes to Florida starting in February. * Seven of the new routes are seasonal and will connect Florida with New England states. * Two year-round routes will connect Orlando airports with Cincinnati, Ohio, and Grand Forks, North Dakota. Planning your spring break already? Ultra-low-cost Allegiant Air is beefing up its Florida presence again with nine new nonstop routes starting next February, according to an Aug. 17 release. The carrier described seven of the routes coming to five Florida airports as "hyper-seasonal," meaning they'll only operate for about two months during a brief period of heavy demand. They're aimed directly at peak spring break and other vacation times and will connect Florida to three New England states: Boston, Massachusetts; Providence, Rhode Island; and Portsmouth, New Hampshire. The two ongoing routes will connect Orlando International Airport and Cincinnati, Ohio, and Orlando Sanford International Airport and Grand Forks, North Dakota. Base fares start as low as $49 one-way for the Orlando-Cincinnati flight and $68.50 from Orlando Sanford International Airport to Grand Forks, North Dakota, as of Aug. 17. The Massachusetts and Rhode Island flights start considerably higher. Allegiant earns top honors in USA TODAY Readers' Choice Awards. August 11th, 2026 Allegiant is once again earning national recognition for the value it provides travelers. The airline recently secured the No. 1 spot for both Best Airline Credit Card and Best Frequent Flyer Program in USA TODAY's 10Best 2026 Readers' Choice Awards. This recognition marks the third consecutive year Allegiant has won both categories. Allegiant's Allways Rewards Visa(R) was named Best Airline Credit Card for the eighth consecutive year. This continues a long-running streak of recognition from travelers. Card benefits include priority check-in and boarding. Through the new in-flight service, passengers can enjoy free beverage options, including soft drinks such as sodas, juice, and water.
