Requirements
  • An interest in the agricultural industry.
  • Experience using social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
  • Creative writing and polished verbal communication skills.
  • Experience or interest in creative design and editing using tools such as Premiere Pro, Canva, Lightroom, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience or interest in photography or videography.
  • Courses taken, knowledge, background experience, or interest in agricultural-related subjects, sales, marketing, advertising, journalism, mass communication, broadcasting, or web design.
  • Organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to collaborate with a team and work independently on projects.
  • Experience or interest in event planning.
  • Experience or involvement with public relations activities, community organizations or projects, and youth or educational events and opportunities.
  • Willingness to learn about the cooperative system and each Frontier Cooperative business unit.
  • Flexibility to work outside regular office hours when necessary or possible.
  • Ability to work in a professional office environment.
  • Organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to adjust to multiple demands, shifting priorities, ambiguity, adversity, and constant change.
  • A valid driver's license and ability to travel within Frontier Cooperative's business footprint.
Responsibilities
  • Assist in writing articles, employee spotlights, blog posts, newsletters, and other written communications for marketing and outreach efforts.
  • Capture and edit photos and videos for marketing, recruitment, and outreach initiatives.
  • Support the planning and execution of Frontier Cooperative events, including community outreach initiatives, county fairs, and employee engagement activities.
  • Assist with recruitment and outreach through social media, community engagement, networking events, career fairs, and educational partnerships.
  • Develop strategies to engage and educate high school and college students about Frontier Cooperative, career pathways, internships, and employment opportunities.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience or interest in photography and videography.
