Junior Graphic Designer
About the job
- Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or related field
- Minimum 2-3 years of working experience
- Proficient with Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premier Pro, InDesign)
- A strong design portfolio that reflects creativity and an understanding of basic design principles
- Understanding of current trends on social media platforms such as Instagram and TikTok
- Understanding of digital and email marketing (Ecommerce experience is a plus)
- Must be creative, thoughtful and forward-thinking
- Must be both an independent worker and a strong team player
- Must be organized, hard-working and able to manage and stick to a schedule
- In partnership with Content marketing, coordinate the conception, creation, and production of culturally resonant social media content for brand/business target audience for video and static assets
- Design digital marketing materials including email templates, website assets, social media, and banner ads
- Create and produce engaging and high-quality short video content for various platforms
- Evolve and create key brand elements, including infographics and icon library
- Develop concepts based on notes, presentations and other provided materials
- Gather data, information and materials necessary to prepare for upcoming projects and deadlines
- Learn to problem solve through design
- Have an understanding of branding and direct marketing principles
- Design and produce occasional offline communications, including packaging
- Help direct photoshoots and coordinate with outside photographers
- Strong written communication skills
- Proficient in website design or front end developing (Knowledge of responsive design is desired)
- Experience in photography
- Experience in marketing or a related fields
